DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
Release tension. Improve movement. Feel more balanced.

What is Deep Tissue Massage?
Deep Tissue Massage is a focused, therapeutic treatment designed to target the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It’s ideal for relieving chronic tension, easing persistent knots, improving mobility, and supporting recovery from injury or repetitive strain.
We’ll begin with a short consultation to understand how you’re feeling and which areas you’d like to focus on. You’ll be made comfortable on the massage table in a quiet, warm, and private space. You’ll be covered throughout your treatment, with only the area being worked on exposed at any time to ensure your comfort and privacy.
Using slow, firm strokes, this treatment works deep into the muscles to help release tightness and built-up tension. Unlike Sports Massage, the emphasis is on sustained, gradual pressure rather than trigger point release — allowing the muscles to soften and lengthen. It can be deeply relaxing while offering powerful physical benefits.
As always, I’ll check in throughout the session to ensure the pressure feels right for you and adjust the treatment as needed.
Benefits of Deep Tissue Massage:
• Loosens tight, restricted muscles
• Relieves stress and deep-seated tension
• Improves posture and movement
• Encourages better circulation and oxygen flow
• Supports long-term muscle balance and joint function
• Eases back, neck, and shoulder discomfort
• Promotes physical and mental relaxation

Who Is It For?
• Anyone with persistent tightness, aches or tension
• Desk workers with shoulder/neck stiffness
• People recovering from stress-related tension
• Those wanting regular maintenance of their body without the intensity of Sports Massage
• Great option for those wanting to feel restored and rebalanced without going too deep
What to Expect During Your Treatment:
We’ll begin with a short consultation to understand how you’re feeling and what areas you’d like to focus on. You’ll then be made comfortable on the massage table with warm towels and a calming atmosphere.
The treatment uses firm, slow strokes to work into deeper muscle layers. Unlike Sports Massage, there’s less emphasis on trigger point release and more on slow, sustained pressure that allows the muscles to let go naturally. It can be deeply relaxing while still offering noticeable physical benefits.
As always, I’ll check in to ensure the pressure is right for you and adapt the session to suit your needs.
Aftercare Advice:
Following your deep tissue massage, it’s normal to feel a little tender or achy — especially in areas where tension was held. This is part of the body’s natural response as lactic acid and other metabolic waste products are released from the muscles.
To support your recovery and get the most from your session:
• Stay well hydrated to help flush out toxins
• Avoid heavy exercise or intense activity for the rest of the day
• Rest and listen to your body — some light movement or stretching may feel helpful
• Apply warmth if needed for comfort
Any mild soreness should ease within a day or two, leaving you feeling looser, lighter, regaining balance in your body.
